  1. BYU is in. They beat @SMC, GU and are the #2 seed in the 2 invite WCC.

  2. BYU as of now in my mind is still out while they gained ground after the Gonzaga win they still have several flaws to their resume. First of all they have 10 total losses in a very bad WCC. Several of their losses are to quality opponents but they also lost to Pacific, Portland, LMU, Pepperdine, and Utah which all but the Utah loss are just terrible losses. We have seen in the past teams that teams that have multiple sub 100 RPI losses generally do not make the tournament let alone a team who has 5 sub 100 RPI losses. While they do have 2 quality non-conference wins and challenged themselves in other games in the Non-con their overall body of work when you incorporate those losses is still shy of an at large bid. I believe they have to win the conference tournament to receive a bid because until the conference tournament championship game they will not really face any opponent that will propel their profile.
